Kerry Girling – Youth actor/model and motivational speaker has been motivating thousands of students throughout Canada and the United States, promoting positive messages and encouraging the youth to live healthy lifestyles, along with his reflecting message, “Make the right choice”. Kerry decided to take a break from his successful acting and modeling career to help motivate and influence teens in a positive way.

He has over ten years experience speaking to over one million students on an International level. Being a person closer to the age of his audience (28 years), Kerry intimately knows teenage people and the problems they face. He is somebody that they can relate to a lot easier, and he keeps their attention with an entertaining and enlightening message. This ability to connect with the message and the listener creates an ultimate sense of honesty and truth that is readily absorbed and ultimately the message itself is that much more accessible.

Kerry is genuine with his message and shows compassion for his audiences. He truly believes that he can create a BETTER WORLD through BETTER YOUTH. Just after the loss of a dear friend from high school, Kerry was discovered by 20th Century Fox, however in the midst of the change that the devastating tragedy brought, he decided to take a break from his successful acting career to help create a positive influence for teens. He truly believes that he can create amazing results with today’s youth and is driven with the desire to do so. His spectacular multimedia presentation focuses on the benefits of Goal Setting, Peer Pressure and Living a Healthy Lifestyle.

His captivating presentation is accompanied with innovative and modern multimedia (sights and sounds) that grabs the student’s attention and does not let go, making it a lot easier to spread his very important messages. Kerry is committed to living a positive and healthy lifestyle and his track record shows genuine compassion for his audiences.

Bullying

Kerry explains in his dynamic motivational presentation how one small comment can affect our self-esteem negatively. Studies have proven that over 78% of North American youth have been affected by bullying (a world-wide problem). He shares his uplifting message on building a healthy self-esteem through the use of goal setting procedures and also shares his heartfelt experience while being bullied in high school.

Drinking and Driving

At the age of eighteen, Kerry Girling started speaking to the youth on the dangers of drinking and driving just after the loss of a dear friend. He shares his experiences and explains how he coped with the loss of a friend. Within Kerry’s heartfelt message, he shares how anyone can take a negative situation and bring out the positive.

Drugs

At a very young age Kerry Girling decided to take a chance to help a less fortunate family member (his brother) that was going through tough times as he suffered from drug addictions. He knew that if he didn’t help his brother work towards a more rewarding lifestyle, he would shortly be visiting him at the hospital or even worse…the cemetery.

In Kerry’s powerful, uplifting multimedia presentation, he describes how he coped with a loving family member as he became drug free after living a shady and unhealthy lifestyle addicted to drugs such as LSD, Cocaine and Crystal Meth. In his presentation he maintains a primary focus on common street drugs.

Connecting with Kids

Kerry knew that he wanted to develop a motivational speaking program when one of his best friends died from a drunk-driving accident. Girling has been involved with motivational talks for over eight years, starting with a well known speaker Norbert Georget and then starting his own company locally. Kerry felt he could do a good job talking to the students about real pressures. “I talk to students from grades five through 12 on the dangers of drinking and driving, drug abuse, bullying and encourage the youth to make positive lifestyle choices, surrounding the theme of goal setting. I believe that I make a positive impact on them, especially with the multimedia presentation.”

Now with his own business, KG Productions, he is hitting urban and rural schools locally and across North America to spread his word.
